This Canadian style cedar strip canoe is hand-crafted from western red cedar. All the trimmings (gunnels, yoke, seat frames and decks) are made from locally sourced Irish ash. The seats are hand woven from a synthetic cane, which resists humidity and makes for comfortable paddling. I have accentuated the rocker adapting it to open sea paddling as well as rivers and lakes
